How to use Korean ginseng

The effect of Korean red ginseng increases when taken regularly and on a long -term base 
 
A direction for taking Korean Red Ginseng 
 
  - Put Korean red ginseng, with other herbs(jujube, ginger, etc.) depending on the purpose of your own, in water in an earthenware and slowly boil them down to one thirds of the initial volume for about two hours.

For constant use of red ginseng as a tonic:
 
Korean red ginseng: 12~20g, 1 root (10~40 piece package) or 2 roots (50 or more piece package)
 
Jujube: 10g, 3~4 pieces
 
Ginger: 3g, use half of large root of 1 small root
 
Water: 0.9 liter

For short time use of red ginseng to improve symptoms of weakness during recovery from illness:
  
Korean red ginseng: 50~60g, 2 roots (10~20 piece package) or 5 roots (30~50 piece package) or 8 roots (60 or more piece package)
 
Jujube: 10g, 3~4 pieces
 
Ginger: 3g, use half of large root of 1 small root
 
Water: 0.9 liter
 
    * When adding other medicinal herbs, adjust the amount according to doctor's prescription.
     
  - Saponins tend to form bubbles and make the whole mixture boil over, Care should be taken not to over-boil the decoction.
  - Wrap the boiled-down mixture in a cloth and squeeze out the fluid. (One can make a second and an third decoction of the remaining red ginseng)
  - Take the decoction 2~3 times daily (300cc/time) before meals and when hungry. 
 
Other Korean red ginseng products  
 
Korean red ginseng is further processed into various products. Korean red ginseng extract, Korean red ginseng powder, Korean red ginseng tea, Korean red ginseng extract powder, and others-capsule, tablet, drinks are available. Directions for use appear on the surface of package. 
 
 
A direction for use/take of white ginseng 
 
Put one or two white ginseng root(s) in 3 cups of water in an earthenware or glass pot (avoid metal pots), bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat, and simmer for about 2 hours. 
   
White ginseng is also processed into many goods. Ginseng powder, capsule, tea, honeyed ginseng, and drinks are available. Directions for use appear on the surface of package. 


A direction for use/take of Susam (Fresh ginseng) 
 
You may take ginseng root as fresh, or homogenize fresh ginseng in a mixer and take the fluid. If it is offensive to take fresh ginseng. take with syrup, honey, or sugar. You can also make a decoction as the way you make with white ginseng. Nice dishes such as Ginseng stuffed chicken stew. Fried ginseng, Dry honeyed ginseng are also enjoyable.
